REWIND OPERATORS – Full-Time Positions Available

No experience is necessary. The ideal candidate will have some experience in a production environment and are motivated to advance within the company.

Duties will include:

  • Safely operating a narrow-web rewinder
  • Inspecting complex label products for any signs of defect
  • Maintaining proper roll tension with consistency
  • Ensuring roll sizes are consistent
  • Being mindful of the production schedule in order to ship product on time

Applicants who are selected will be required to take a basic Mechanical Aptitude Test prior to interview. Drug screen required prior to employment. Hourly rates are determined based on experience and are negotiable.

MATERIAL HANDLER/INVENTORY – FULL Time Positions Available

No experience is necessary. The ideal candidate will have some experience in a production environment and are motivated to advance within the company.

The Inventory control Associate’s responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to keeping accurate stock locations for all material, do all weekly inventory as required by the purchasing Dept. This position requires aptitude and reasonable familiarity with common word-processing computer programs, keyboard typing and 10-key skills.This position also requires basic mechanical aptitude to perform certain tasks described below.

Duties will include:

  • Ensure that materials have accurate stock locations.
  • Ensure that all Stock locations are Audited Once a week.
  • Conduct regular inventory as required by Purchasing Department.
  • Organize materials in both warehouses to be easily identified and accessed.
  • Shuttle materials safely between warehouses as needed.

SPOOLING OPERATORS – Full-Time Positions Available

Duties will include:

  • Safely operating spooling equipment
  • Ensuring Spool sizes are consistent
  • Maintaining proper roll tension with consistency
  • Maintaining efficient and consistent production through daily quota achievement
  • Being mindful of the production schedule in order to ship product on time

PRESS OPERATOR - Full-Time Positions Available

Operate printing press as designated by Management, and any other supplementary equipment as may be required to ensure optimum performance of equipment and quality of printed product at all times.

Duties will include:

  • Set up and run printing press on a daily basis following protocols as provided by Management
  • Adhere to 5S program requirements.
  • Thoroughly inspect all inks, coatings and supplementary supplies provided from warehouse are in suitable condition for the production of quality printed materials.
  • Follow procedures and instructions provided with respect to Press setup and cleanup, periodic maintenance, inspection and troubleshooting
  • Verify your coated product has optimal tension, and that your adhesive thickness is in spec.

SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST – Full Time Positions Available

The ideal candidate will is responsible for building and maintaining successful partnerships with external and internal Sales Representatives and customers in order to meet both team and company goals.Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other STL departments will be critical to both individual and company success.

Duties will include:

  • Understand STL products
  • Facilitate flow of clear communication, both internal and external, toward the completion of a successful project
  • Provide product quotes and supporting materials
  • Enter orders and follow the order flow process through to completion
  • Establish and maintain high customer service with all customers and with each department at STL
  • Process orders, update and maintain customer data and update of various projects utilizing software packages necessary to the project
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • MS Office Skills

FLEXOGRAPHIC PRESS OPERATORS Full-Time Positions Available

The ideal candidate will have experience with Flexographic Printing equipment. However, we are also considering applicants for this position who have experience as a lead-operator on manufacturing lines in different industries.

Duties will include:

  • Safely operating a Flexographic Printing Press
  • Producing labels according to the specifications outlined in the work order documents
  • Learning about the technical aspects of our products and process.
  • Involvement in training courses/sessions relating to Flexographic Printing practices and the components used in the printing process
  • Adhering to processes in place to ensure high quality product
  • Managing ink pH and viscosity
  • Proper handling of cutting dies
  • Controlling press set-points for proper tensions, registration, drying, UV curing and diecutting
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
